PREPARING AYAMASE STEW(ofada stew)

                     AYAMASE STEW

      AYAMASE stew also known as designer stew is made with palm oil, locust beans,,bell peppers and assorted meat with egg. We all know how we derive the ofada (stew) from, it is derived from the originally rice known as ofada rice. Ofada stew has a very unique Aroma/flavour. For the type of stew make sure to use plenty of the green or unripe bell pepper,in other to give you that green black color,that's the original look for ofada stew.


INGREDIENTS:
- 7 large green bell pepper
-3 green Chilli pepper
-4 Large red onions
-2 lbs assorted meat
-Smoked dried fish
-Crayfish
-1/2 Cup palm oil
-2 tbsp seasoning
-Salt to taste
- 1tbsp locust beans.


PREPARATIONS 
1)Wash and blend the peppers with onions( note remove the seeds in the pepper before grinding)
2)Cook the meat and with seasoning only till done.
3)Boil the blended pepper in another pot to drain or dry up.
4)Add oil in a new pot and bleach until Its clear. It should look like vegetable oil when done.
5)Leave the oil to cool down a little bit then you add the boiled pepper and fry.
6) Add your locust beans,crayfish/shrimp,assorted meat and fish and stir.
7)Add salt to taste
8)Leave to shimmer for some minutes 
9)Stew is ready.


N:B------ Make sure to use steel pot to bleach oil,not Non stick or enamel pot.
