 HOW TO MAKE AKARA

       Akara is a fried bean ball made form mixture of washed and peeled beans, onions and pepper. Akara  can be  eaten with bread,pap,garri,custard and even just with yagi pepper(Hausa pepper)etc. When I want to Fry my akara aside blending pepper, I love to dice Onions and pepper in cubes,pieces my fish(dried/fresh boiled) then mix with my akara. Trust me if you follow this method of frying you are really going to love the  out come of it especially how its taste. So,let's talk about the ingredient and how to prepare akara  in no time as our saliva is dropping already... Lol

INGREDIENTS:

-500G beans
- Onion
- Warm water
-Groundnut oil
-Salt
-1/2 cube of seasoning
-fish(optional)
-fresh pepper/dried pepper.


PREPARATIONS:

-soak your beans and wash thoroughly to remove skin.
-Grind beans with pepper and onion until smooth.(do not add much water while grinding)
-pour your grinded beans in a bowl,add 1/2 cube seasoning and salt to taste.
-dice your onions,fish(optional) and 2 habanero pepper in cubes or little form.
-Pour in the bowl mix together with just little warm water
-Heat the oil
- Spoon the mixture into the oil to form balls and fry until golden brown
- Drain on absorbent kitchen paper or serviette.
- Can be serves with the above listed food or just pepper.
